West 8th Avenue Viaduct to Close this Weekend for Maintenance Published on July 24, 2025 Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is closing the W. 8th Avenue Viaduct to vehicle travel this weekend for necessary maintenance. The closure of the W. 8th Avenue bridge between Tejon and Mariposa streets will begin at 7 a.m. Friday, July 25. It will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, July 28.
