When JAB Real Estate had the chance to buy and restore 2935 Zuni Street, they knew they had to jump at the chance. The historic Ochiltree Block building was built in 1892. More than 130 years later, it’s still just as beautiful. The development team saw the potential for an adaptive reuse project that relied on heat pumps.

Criminal Justice Nonprofit Uses Energize Denver to Guide Upgrades

Run by Denver’s office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency, EDEN helps small buildings develop a plan to comply with Energize Denver’s requirements while also looking for other opportunities to improve a building’s energy performance.

So when he saw that the Cathedral needed to adhere to Energize Denver, his heart sank. But he quickly discovered a sense of relief after contacting Denver’s Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR).
