The new Clerk and Recorder website that you are visiting today went live in June 2011 and was the result of a year-long effort to redesign and update the Clerk and Recorder's online presence. The goals of this project were to:
- consolidate the information formerly contained in five separate websites
- make information much easier for the public to find and navigate through
- modernize and update the online offerings
- make more information available to the public
One of the biggest differences from the previous sites is that the website is now organized into sections based on topics the public has the most interest in. For example, instead of showcasing information by specific divisions (City Clerk, Public Trustee, Elections Division, etc.), the website is now organized by essential services offered by the Clerk and Recorder. The new layout is intended to make it much easier to find information.
This website is a part of the City and County of Denver's "denvergov.org" domain and it also has its own domain name: www.DenverClerkandRecorder.org. Users of our former Elections website can still get to the Elections section of this new website using www.DenverVotes.org.
Also part of the agency's overall efforts to increase the amount of information and number of Clerk and Recorder document collections available to the public through our website:
Improvements to this website are ongoing. We welcome your comments and suggestions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
