Our restaurants and bars need our help right now. ❤ This is why Denver is creating a temporary program to expand options for restaurants, bars and other similar businesses to operate in outdoor settings adjacent to their businesses. To gauge interest, the city has created an online form where eligible businesses can submit a proposal for the city to review. This will allow for greater physical distancing and safety when restaurants and bars reopen for sit-down service (per the state’s public health order). Final rules and regulations are still in development, but proposals could include expansion into designated outdoor areas such as adjacent parking lots, streets, and sidewalks.
