To promote a sustainable environment and in accordance with Mayor Hancock's Better Buildings Challenge to reduce 20% of our energy consumption by 2020, the Central Services division collaborated with Denver Greenprint program to recycle empty ink and toner cartridges. The recycling information and instructions of each type of cartridges are as follows:

Printer and Copier Cartridges Recycling

  • Place empty ink toner cartridges and waste toner bottles into original box. Once the original box is full, print out the free vendor return label (available under Quick Links).

  • Bring the box affixed with the vendor return label down to Central Services Mail Room, 3rd floor of the Webb building.

  • Place cartridge in original box and provide to Central Services, 3rd floor.

Lewan, FEDEX and UPS facilitate the pick-up for the copier cartridges. This service is free.

If you would like to setup a similar recycling program in your building, please have your Facility Manager contact us and we will assist them in developing your recycling program.
