Denver Parks and Recreation Begins Accepting Applications for 2021 Park and Event Facility Permits on November 2

Monday, November 2 marks the first day Denver Parks and Recreation will begin accepting permit applications for 2021 public events, special occasions, public assembly, and event facilities. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the in-person application process at the Wellington Webb Building will not be taking place therefore, everyone is encouraged to review the application process prior to November 2.

City Hosts Telephone Town Hall to Discuss the 2021 Budget and Community Priorities

Mayor Michael B. Hancock and Chief Financial Officer Brendan Hanlon today will host a telephone town hall to discuss City priorities for Denver's 2021 budget. The Telephone Town Hall is an informational conversation to provide residents the opportunity to express their thoughts through survey and polling tools and will be available in both English and Spanish.

City Initiates Release of Third Phase of Coronavirus Relief Funds to Community

The City and County of Denver is preparing to release a third round of federal Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) dollars to increase shelter capacity for people experiencing homelessness, provide rental assistance to 180 more Denver households, economic relief for nonprofits and businesses, childcare services for workers, and the continuation of the temporary shared streets program.
