The Denver Civil Service Commission will hold a public hearing regarding proposed amendments to Commission Rule 14,Hearing Officer Selection and Qualifications.  To view the full postings regarding the proposed amendments you may go to www.denvergov.org/civilservice or click on the following link:  Rule 14 Public Hearing. The available postings include:  The current Rule 14; a “Redline” version of the proposed Rule 14 (showing all proposed additions and deletions to the current Rule 14); a Plain Text version of the proposed Rule 14 (showing the proposed Rule 14 incorporating all proposed amendments).

The public hearing on proposed amendments to Commission Rule 14 will be held, as noted above, preceding a regular scheduled Civil Service Commission meeting on Friday, July 17, 2015.  The Commission’s regular meeting will begin following the close of the public hearing.

If you wish to speak at the Public Hearing regarding the proposed amendments to Rule 14, please call 720-913-3371 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, and no later than 4:30 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2015.  You may also contact the Commission by email at CSCHearing@denvergov.org by the same deadline (provide your name and title, and the name of any organization or department that you are formally representing).  Individual oral comment will be limited to five (5) minutes per speaker with a maximum of 10 minutes per individual should any other speaker(s) relinquish their time. 

Submission of written comment is encouraged.  If you wish to file written comments you may file the comments electronically by email (as a Word or PDFattachment) at CSCHearing@denvergov.org no later than 4:30 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2015.  You may also mail or deliver your comments (same deadline for receipt) in care of:
