In addition to our Energize Denver Energy Efficiency Awards for buildings that save the most energy, this year we have added two new award categories: COVID Adaptation & Resilience and Individual Leadership! These categories are open to all buildings (and individuals who work in the buildings) that were in compliance with the Energize Denver Benchmarking Ordinance by August 1st, 2020.
We are asking for nominations to identify buildings and individuals who have shown exemplary leadership in these categories. Please nominate as many candidates as you like. Each candidate will need their own nomination form (it's OK to nominate yourself as well!).
Nominations will be accepted through Friday, September 25th
COVID Adaptation & Resilience: COVID has completely changed the way we live and operate within our buildings. This category will recognize property managers and building owners who have successfully adapted to COVID and are keeping Denver’s buildings safe while minimizing cost and energy use.
Tell us the story of your building and how your team adapted to optimize operations and eliminate unnecessary energy demand, while also maintaining a healthy environment and building tenant trust.
Individual Leadership: It’s not the buildings we work in but the people in them that make all the difference. This category aims to recognize an individual who demonstrates excellence and is fundamental to their team’s success. This person goes above and beyond to make sure that your building is not just operational, but also efficient and on the forefront of high performance. This category is also open to an individual who was fundamental to their team’s success with COVID Adaptation.
