Electrical 

Scope of Work 

To install, add to, alter or repair control units, electric door hardware, wiring & raceways electrically interconnected to control & regulate ingress and egress.  Voltages shall not exceed 48 volts or the system shall be poser limited as defined by the National Electric Code.  Complete conduit or raceway systems shall not be installed by the holder of this license.  All work to be done under the supervision of an Access Control Supervisor Certificate holder. 

Testing

ICC Exam #490 “Access Control Supervisor” is required. 

Minimum Experience Required To Apply  

Three (3) years working in the access control trade. Experience must be displayed in each of the three- (3) disciplines: electrical design and installation, hardware application and installation and building life safety requirements (i.e. exiting).

Scope of Work

To install, erect or maintain all types of signs unless exempt by Section 150 of the Denver Building Code.  All work to be done under the on site supervision of an Electrical Sign Supervisor Certificate holder. 

Testing  

ICC Exam N22 - National Standard Master Sign Supervisor

Minimum Experience Required To Apply

Five (5) years experience in the Electrical Sign Industry in the erection, sheet metal, or electrical phases of the industry.

Scope of Work  

Permits the installation of electrical wiring and equipment for fire alarm, fire detection, emergency voice communication system, and electrical signaling and control wiring.  Voltages shall not exceed 48 volts or the system shall be power limited as defined in the National Electrical Code.   Complete conduit or raceway systems shall not be installed by the holder of this Certificate.

Testing 

ICC Exam #380 “Journeyman Electrical Signal Operator” is required.

Minimum experience Required To Apply

Two (2) years as and apprentice or trainee under a licensed Electrical Contractor or Electrical Signal Contractor installing and repairing electrical wiring and equipment for fire alarm and detection systems, burglar alarm, emergency voice communication systems and electrical signaling and control wiring.

Testing

ICC Exam #377 “Electrical Signal Supervisor” is required for Fire Alarm Applications.

Minimum Experience To Apply

Three (3) years as a journeyman under a licensed Electrical Contractor or Electrical Signal Contractor, install and repairing electrical wiring and equipment for fire alarm and detection systems & electrical signaling & control wiring.
