At the first community meeting of the Loretto Heights Area Plan, attendees got an opportunity to learn about the planning process and share their ideas for the future of the area. If you were not able to attend, catch up with the links below.
One of the exercises meeting attendes took part in was writing postcards from themselves in 20 years talking about the future of the planning area.
On the heels of the recent sale of the Loretto Heights campus, Denver Community Planning and Development is working with local residents, neighborhood groups and other stakeholders to create a community vision for this 72-acre campus in Southwest Denver. The Loretto Heights Area Plan will be a community-driven public process that builds on previous work done by local leaders and neighborhood groups, who have been eager to put a plan in place for many years, and gives the public an opportunity to have input in the future of this treasured campus.
The planning process is guided by a steering committee made up of members of the community and area leaders representing various organizations and constituencies. All of its meetings are open to the public. Meeting materials will be posted after the fact in the meeting archive at the bottom of this page.
