A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held July 16, 2015 at 3:00 Conference Room 4.G.2, Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO  80202.  Interested firms are encouraged to attend.  Proposers are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

Printed Responses are due July 31, 2015, no later than 10:00 a.m. MST, delivered to Public Works Finance and Administration, Attn:  Debby Gibson, 201 W. Colfax, Ste. 614, Denver, CO  80202.

Question Deadline: All inquiries and questions regarding this RFQ shall be directed to Debby Gibson in the Public Works Department in writing via email at no later than July 24, 2015, 3:00 p.m.

General Statement of Work:  The City and County of Denver Public Works Department is seeking firms to provide on-call Inspection, Material Testing and Environmental Testing services to support various Capital Projects Management Facilities, Transportation, Wastewater and other City Agency projects as necessary. These services include, but are not limited to: Construction Inspection, Geotechnical Engineering investigation and design reports, Foundation Design reports (caissons, piles, footings, etc.) Pavement Design reports (subgrade, asphalt, concrete), Material Testing (soils, aggregate, asphalt, concrete, masonry, sewer piping, Cured-In-Place Pipe, etc.), Material Inspection (soils, concrete, asphalt, timber, masonry, steel components and erection, fireproofing, piping, mechanical, electrical, Exterior Insulation Finished Systems, environmental, etc.), Structural integrity or capacity analysis, Clerical Support, Environmental Site Assessments and preparing Materials Management Plans.

M/WBE Participation: The Project goal of 15% must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-65, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C.  For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.

As the City’s best interests may appear, the Manager of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, proposals.
