Request for Qualifications Professional Engineering Design Services for Federal Boulevard Corridor Study Project Control No. PWPPS2015-001 eBid Document No. 4000694

The Department of Public Works, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for professional services to complete engineering design of roadway improvements described below.

A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held August 11, 2015 at 2:00 Conference Room 4.F.6, Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO  80202.  Interested firms are encouraged to attend.  Proposers are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

Printed Responses are due August 21, 2015 no later than 10:00 a.m. MST. Responses to be delivered to Public Works Finance and Administration, Attn:  Debby Gibson, 201 W. Colfax, Ste. 614, Denver, CO  80202.

Question Deadline: All inquiries and questions regarding this RFQ shall be directed to Debby Gibson in the Public Works Department in writing via email at no later than August 13, 2015, 2:00 p.m.

General Statement of Work:  The City and County of Denver is searching for a multidisciplinary consultant team to work with City departments in coordination with CDOT/RTD and the public to address multimodal operations, safety and aesthetics of Federal Boulevard along the approximately 9-mile stretch within the City and County of Denver boundary from Floyd Avenue on the south to North Columbine Road on the north.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation:  The Project goal of 0% Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation must be met with as set forth in 49 CFR Part 26. For compliance with good faith effort requirements, as set forth in Part 26, the DBE solicitation level required for this project is 100% of the City and Denver’s certified DBEs and 100% of the State of Colorado’s Department of Transportation (CDOT’s) certified DBE’s.

As the City’s best interests may appear the Manager of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, proposals.
