The Ellie Facade lighting system will both recreate original light fixtures and accentuate historical features of the Ellie’s three exposed exterior facades with modern LED fixtures. The system will consist of new globe fixtures to match those originally installed along the façade, the recreation of historic pin-dot lighting across the building, and new low-profile LED fixtures of various types concealed within, or mounted directly to, the exterior of the building and controlled in various zones by a programmable control system. Light demolition of interior finishes and subsequent patching / reassembly, installation of electrical systems, weatherproofing and/or fireproofing of penetrations, and drilling through and mechanically fastening components to the historic, primarily brick, facade will be necessary.
