The project includes the partial demolition and replacement of the south tennis courts at Berkeley Park. The new tennis courts will be a post tensioned design. Included in the scope is fencing, site amenities, lighting upgrades, a new electrical service, site work, landscaping and irrigation work. Refurbishment of the existing practice court is included as an add alternate.

Construct new storm drainage improvements to mitigate flooding that occurs frequently at the sump in S. Glencoe Street, south of E Yale Avenue. The project would provide a 10-year storm drain system to adequately drain the sump which is a low area, in accordance with the City’s level of service. This project is located in the eastern part of the University Hills Neighborhood in southeast Denver. This work will also consist of surface restoration including concrete flatwork, asphalt and concrete paving and landscaping items.

This request encompasses a renovation of a portion of an existing warehouse and adjoining office space at 2100 31st Street. There are no alterations to the exterior; the existing building was formerly used by Fed-Ex for collection and distribution of packages with an adjoining office space and is being renovated to house the Police Service Center and the Electronics Bureau.

Removal, disposal and replacement of the existing sandstone terrace, perimeter retaining and wing walls, and subgrade material. The utility vault, water service, sanitary service, electrical service and storm sewer will also be removed. The existing sundial will be repaired and reset on a stabilized concrete footer base, perimeter cap and step stones will be salvaged, stored and reinstalled, and a universally accessible ramp will be installed.

The intent of the project is to install a new programmable lighting system that will highlight historical features of the Ellie’s three exposed exterior facades. The system will consist of LED fixtures of various types attached to the exterior of the building and controlled in various zones by a programmable control system. Conduit and cabling will be run from electrical closets inside the Ellie through various interior spaces to the exterior to power and control the lighting systems. Light demolition and repair of interior finishes, installation of electrical systems, weatherproofing and/or fireproofing of penetrations, and carefully drilling through and mechanically fastening components to the historic façade will be necessary. The exterior of the Ellie is part of its Historic Landmark status and the work must be completed carefully with required skilled labor force and tools to not damage the façade per the provided specifications and required procedures. The paths through interior finishes have limited or no access via chases, access panels, or empty conduits / raceways.

Project bid package to include 2 sets of plans for 3 structures to be rehabilitated. Project Schedule "A" is PWT2015-056 and includes 2 structures located on Goldsmith Gulch, 1 at Monaco (D-11-GG-080), and the other at Eastman (D-11-GG-130). This includes routine repairs such as concrete spall and delamination repair, asphalt overlay, and railings. Project Schedule "B" is PWT2015-055 and includes rehabilitation of the Mississippi over Platte River Bridge (D-02-PR-220), curb ramp restoration, substructure repairs, and adjustment of a traffic signal pull box.

This is the Traffic Signal Upgrade – Mill Levy Package #6 project. The overall objective of this project is the redesign and reconstruction of seven (7) traffic signals within the City and County of Denver. The locations of these traffic signals are at the following intersections:1.S University Blvd & Virginia Ave; 2. S University Blvd & Mississippi Ave; 3. S University Blvd & Mississippi Ave - Arizona Ave (Mid Block Pedestrian Signal); 4. S University Blvd & Louisiana Ave; 5. S University Blvd & Florida Ave; 6. S University Blvd & Harvard Ave; 7. S University Blvd & Bates Ave - Cornell Ave (Mid Block Pedestrian Signal). In addition to the traffic signal improvements, there will be improvements made to curb ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutters, curb returns, storm sewer inlets and manholes at each intersection for enhanced pedestrian access as necessary. Ramp improvements will be designed and constructed to current CCD standards and specifications. In addition, there may be additional damaged sidewalks, curb and gutter and curb returns adjacent to the ramps that will need to be upgraded.

Replacement of Evergreen Lake House Bridge over Bear Creek (Structure D-27-MP-070). The replacement bridge is a single span structure that uses adjacent precast prestressed concrete box girders and integral abutments founded on predrilled steel H-piles.
