RFQ: 1909 Stadium Arena Historic Structure & Public Market

The National Western Center (NWC) Partners are exploring adaptive reuse and rehabilitation opportunities for a local historic landmark, the 1909 Stadium Arena, located at 4655 Humboldt Street in Denver. The adopted National Western Center Master Plan envisions the historic rehabilitation of the arena and its reuse as an active year-round public market -highlighting and promoting Colorado-made and -grown products from around our State.

RFP: Globeville Landing Phase III - Integrated Construction

This work order request is within the area of the North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative (NDCC), a coordinated effort created by Mayor Michael B. Hancock to strategically align planning among converging projects in Denver’s Globeville, Elyria, Swansea and River North neighborhoods. The Globeville Landing Outfall (GLO) Project, divided into phases, will reconstruct the Globeville Landing Park combined with a new storm water open channel connecting to the South Platte River and include new storm water infrastructure along Brighton Boulevard and a portion of 40th Street. GLO is a part of the Platte to Park Hill program. The overall project is essential to improving the flood protection in the area in the Platte to Park Hill Stormwater Systems plan and will receive storm water from the other project areas. The Phase III project will specifically address the boring that will be required to add storm pipes underneath railroad tracks from approximately 40th Street and Wynkoop Street on one side and 40th Street and Blake Street on the other. The pipes on the west side of the tracks will connect to GLO Phase II and the pipes on the east side of the tracks will connect to 39th Avenue Open Channel projects.

Contract 201734984 Glenbrook Detention Basin

The project is situated in the Marston Neighborhood in southwest Denver. This project is to permanently protect adjacent residential properties located on the northern project boundary from flooding. The project will provide improved and enlarged stormwater detention facilities with inclusion of water quality features in the City-owned natural area immediately south to the Garrison/Union Park. Along with new landscape and irrigation improvements, a new concrete trail system will be constructed to connect the existing trail system to the neighborhood and the Garrison/Union Park. Also included is the Add Alt. 1 to construct the west trail loop.

RFP: Globeville Landing Phase 1B - Integrated Construction

The Globeville Landing Outfall (GLO) Project, divided into phases, will reconstruct the Globeville Landing Park combined with a new storm water open channel connecting to the South Platte River and include new storm water infrastructure along Brighton Boulevard and a portion of 40th Street. GLO is a part of the Platte to Park Hill program. The overall project is essential to improving the flood protection in the area in the Platte to Park Hill Stormwater Systems plan and will receive storm water from the other project areas. The Phase IB project will specifically address the park enhancements and finishes within the Globeville Landing Park. This phase is located in a portion of Operable Unit 2 (OU 2) of the VB/I70 Superfund Site. The scope of the work includes construction elements such as hardscape plazas, picnic shelters, lawn/green space, playground amenities and a pedestrian bridge. Of note, there is also included a design/build services request for a natural play area.

Contract 2017XXXXX Sign Construction Services Master On-Call

Multi-award contract — The 2017 Sign Construction Services Master On-Call will be used to install new and/or maintain signs within the City and County of Denver. Types of sign work will include post mounted, utility and signal pole mounted, posts both in hardscape and softscape, meter posts, plastic bollards, and signs attached to permanent structures. Contract will involve everything from materials to labor to traffic control according to the bid items and specifications. All work will be in accordance with the MUTCD and the current Public Works - Transportation & Mobility standards and work will be throughout the entire City. This contract will be a Zero dollar contract, and each work orders will be scoped, priced and authorized separately and all work will be supervised and directed by a Public Works - Transportation & Mobility project manager. Funding will be defined at the time the work order is written and funded from the Transportation & Mobility Annual Sign Program funds.

Contract 201734986 Mill Levy 7A

To reconstruct and upgrade four (4) existing traffic signals within the City and County of Denver. These signals are located on Monaco St Pkwy at MLK and at Alameda, Broadway at Alameda, and Peoria at 47th. The scope of work is to rebuild the traffic signals - remove and replace the existing traffic signal equipment (poles, signal and pedestrian indications, and associated equipment) with new traffic signal equipment in accordance with the City and County of Denver standards. The new traffic signal equipment includes new mast arm traffic signal poles/mast arms, multiple 12-12-12 overhead and side mounted indications, 16" pedestrian signal face, and vehicle detection system. Additional project scopes include new signing and striping packages in accordance with ASTM Type 11 retroreflective sheeting and CCD/MUTCD criteria respectively, and intersection civil reconstruction (ADA handicap ramp, curb and gutter, and sidewalk).

Contract 201734794 SHE 2014/FASTER 2015

The SHE 2014/FASTER 2015 is a federal/state funded traffic signal upgrade project. The goal of this project is to reconstruct and upgrade five (5) existing traffic signals within the City and County of Denver. Three signals are located on Colorado Blvd at Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas, and the remaining two signals are located at Havana/Girard and Sheridan/20th. The scope of work is to rebuild the traffic signals by removing the existing traffic signal equipment (poles, signal and pedestrian indications, and associated equipment) and replacing it with new traffic signal equipment in accordance with the City and County of Denver standards. The new traffic signal equipment includes new mast arm traffic signal poles/mast arms, multiple 12-12-12 overhead and side mounted indications, 16" pedestrian signal face, and vehicle detection system. Contract 201734695 Red Rocks Depot

This project is for the construction of a new utility building located in the upper north parking lot adjacent to Alameda Parkway within Red Rocks Park. The building will house functions for Waste Management, sorting/janitorial storage, parking operations, marketing, Aramark Food and Beverage, keeping and restrooms for employees and the general public. It will be constructed of board formed concrete, cor-ten and stone and includes updates to the façade of the adjacent pump house.

RFQ: Sundial Terrace at Cranmer Park

*Updated with prequal category* This project will include the restoration and reconstruction of the Sundial Terrace at Cranmer Park. The scope includes removal, disposal and replacement of the existing sandstone terrace, perimeter retaining and wing walls, and subgrade material. The utility vault, water service, sanitary service, electrical service and storm sewer will also be removed. The existing sundial will be repaired and reset on a stabilized concrete footer base, perimeter cap and step stones will be salvaged, stored and reinstalled, and a universally accessible ramp will be installed.

RFQ: Integrated Demolition Services

The City and County of Denver is seeking a qualified contractor to perform integrated demolition services. It is anticipated that the types of work issued under this contract may entail project management services, property management services, facility demolition, facility abatement, and site-specific remediation for several facilities. This contract will be executed through a Work Order arrangement with either Not to Exceed (NTE) or lump sum pricing to be completed prior to the Notice to Proceed (NTP) for each project management, property management, demolition, abatement, and/or site-specific remediation Work Order. The contract term will be 3 years from execution.
