The Department of Public Works, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for qualifications (the “RFQ”) for professional services for preliminary engineering design of the 47th Avenue and York Street Bicycle/Pedestrian Bridge. RFQ documents will be available for download at www.QuestCDN.com, eBid Document No. 4844529, at the cost of $10.00.
Printed Responses are due at 10:00 a.m. MST, March 3, 2017, delivered to Public Works Finance and Administration, Attn: Jill Ferguson, 201 W. Colfax, Ste. 614, Denver, CO 80202.
A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. MST, February 17, 2017, in Conference Room 4G2 Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80202. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Proposers are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

General Statement of Work This RFQ is for professional design services for the preliminary design of the preferred layout of a pedestrian bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) tracks at 47th and York as identified in the Elyria Swansea at York East/ West Connectivity Study. Activities include appropriate NEPA documentation and analysis, structural design, survey, utility relocation design, civil design, urban design, lighting design, railroad and Public Utilities Commission (PUC) coordination, right-of-way (ROW) acquisition, and stakeholder engagement.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation: The Project goal of 15% Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation must be met with as set forth in 49 CFR Part 26.
General: As the City’s best interests may appear, the Manager of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, proposals.
