The Department of Public Works, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for General Contractor Construction On-Call Services. RFQ documents will be available for download at www.QuestCDN.com eBid Document No. #5961137, at the cost of $15.00.

General Statement of Work: The City and County of Denver Public Works Department is seeking general contractors to provide on-call construction services as needed for construction work on municipal buildings. The City anticipates awarding multiple contracts to multiple general contractors. The Agreement for On-Call Construction Services (Agreement) will have a three-year term and will have a contract capacity of $15,000,000. Projects will be initiated by issuing Work Orders under the Agreement.
Cost Estimate: The cumulative cost of all construction performed under this contract shall not exceed $15,000,000 during the Three (3) year term of the Contract. The City expects to award multiple contracts.
A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at 201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202, 10:00 a.m. local time, November 21, 2018, in the 4th floor conference room 4.G.2., Wellington E. Webb Building. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Firms are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

Minority and Women Business Enterprise Participation: The project goal of 15% must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-65, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C. For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.
Prequalification Requirements: Each submitter must be pre-qualified in the Work Category of 2A-General Building at a Financial Level of $3,000,000.00. If not already prequalified, the prime contractor must have submitted a prequalification application a minimum of ten (10) calendar days prior to the submittal due date. Prequalification applications must be submitted to the Department of Public Works, Prequalification Section, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Dept. 614, Denver, Colorado 80202.
