Responses are due at 10:00 a.m. MDT, September 13, 2018, delivered to Public Works Finance and Administration, Attn: Renee Kennedy, 201 W. Colfax, Ste. 614, Denver, CO  80202.

A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at 3:00 p.m., August 23, 2018, in Conference Room 4G2 - Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO  80202.  Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Proposers are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

General Statement of Work: The City and County of Denver (City) is soliciting Requests for Qualifications from qualified firms to provide Construction Management/General Contracting services to renovate a portion of the building at 5125 Race Court to become the Maintenance and Operations Facility for the National Western Center. The selected contractor will be providing preconstruction and construction services to support the renovation, transforming this existing facility into maintenance shops, fleet maintenance bays, offices, command center, indoor and outdoor storage for equipment, fixtures, and bulk products, Cattle Tie areas during annual Stock Shows, and parking.

Prequalification Requirements: Each proposer must be pre-qualified in the Work Category of 2A-General Building with a Financial Level of $9,000,000.

Minority and Women Business Enterprise Participation:  The project goal of 28% must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-65, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C. For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.

General: As the City’s best interests may appear, the Manager of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, proposals.
