The Mayor’s Office of The National Western Center, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for Engineering and Architectural services for the 20-acre NWC Stockyards and 43,000 square foot, (“SF”) Stockyard Event Center. A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m., July 12, 2018, in Conference Room 4G2 - Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80202. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Proposers are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

General Statement of Work: The City and County of Denver (“CCD”) seeks Architectural and Engineering Professional Services for the development of a 20-acre multi-purpose concrete surface area for use as Stockyards during the annual Stock Show, as well as supporting other events (fairgrounds, car/RV/boat shows, monster trucks, BMX racing, concert venue, etc.) at other times throughout the year. Includes water, power and lighting distribution throughout the site, catwalks, and provision of temporary penning materials. Also includes the 35,000-40,000 SF Stockyards Event Center, consisting of a 1,000-seat show arena and a 600-seat auction hall with supporting office spaces and other gathering spaces for entertainment and educational purposes.
Minority and Women Business Enterprise Participation: The project goal of 30% must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-65, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C. For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.
General: As the City’s best interests may appear, the City’s Executive Director of The Mayor’s Office of The National Western Center, reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, proposals.
