The Department of Public Works, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for Washington St. from S. Platte River to E. 52nd Ave. RFQ documents will be available for download at www.QuestCDN.com, eBid Document No. 5685549, at the cost of $10.00.
General Statement of Work: The City and County of Denver is seeking an engineering team to provide professional design and engineering services for improvements on Washington Street from the South Platte River North to the City and County of Denver municipal boundary limits near 52nd Ave., and for professional design and engineering services for the Washington Street Bridge over the South Platte River (also known as the 38th Street Bridge over the South Platte River) and for the Globeville Landing Pedestrian Bridge over the South Platte River. The Globeville Landing Pedestrian Bridge is just downstream of the Washington Street Bridge, and it lands in Globeville Landing Park.
A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at 201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202, 1:00 p.m. local time, May 23, 2018, in the 1st floor conference room 1.B.6., Wellington E. Webb Building, 201 W Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80202. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Firms are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.

Minority and Women Business Enterprise Participation: The Project goal of 23% must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-65, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C. For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.
As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, submittals.
