This project includes the installation of a new traffic signal at E Yale Ave and E Yale Circle, an approximately 95' long concrete median, rebuilt curb ramp (removal of existing and installation of realigned new), full-depth patching of asphalt pavement, milling of asphalt pavement, an overlay of asphalt paving, and associated signing and striping.

This storm drainage project extending along Marion Street Corrior from MLK Blvd. to E. 27th Ave. (five city blocks) will connect the upstream end of the 33rd Street Outfall system at MLK Blvd. The majority of the work consists of open cut construction of 8' x 8' concrete boxes and relocation of a 6" waterline. Other areas of work include surface restoration in asphalt paving, in concrete sidewalks, and in curb ramps. Green infrastructure (Streetside Stormwater Planters) is also part of other areas of work to enhance water quality.

* NEW DATE * The selected team will work under the guidance of the City and County of Denver (CCD) and Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP) staff to further analyze, evaluate and develop 30% design plans for creating an urban trail along 21st Street from Coors Field to Benedict Fountain Park. This project will build off the previous work of the 21st and Wynkoop Street Urban Design Plan (2016) and the 5280 Loop Concept Design Study (on-going) and will evaluate modifications to the street from a range of perspectives, including changes to multimodal access, drainage/utilities, adjacent land uses, etc. This effort will establish relationships between the multiple functions of the shared right-of-way, incorporating the wide range of design concepts envisioned for The 5280 Loop. A project milestone will occur after 30% design completion and an unknown portion of the corridor will be brought to 100% design with remaining funds.

The City and County of Denver (City) is soliciting Requests for Qualifications from qualified firms to provide Construction Management/General Contracting services to renovate the Wastewater Building located at 2000 W 3rd Ave, Denver, Colorado. The goal of the project is to perform an interior renovation of the building and required code, ADA and LEED improvements. The work is to occur in an occupied facility and could be a multi-phased project based on the availability and capacity of temporary swing space and budget. Should the City choose to continue to work with the selected firm through the construction phase, then a separate CM/GC agreement will be signed.

Since no excavation is required, utilities and traffic conflicts are minimized, thereby citizen discomfort and complaints are reduced to minimum. This Lining Project is located in 35th Street/Avenue.

The City and County of Denver is seeking a design engineering team for professional services necessary to provide basis of design and procurement documents necessary for the Design-Build contract for the widening of the 56th Ave. from Peoria Blvd to Peña Blvd. Services include, but are not limited to, preliminary roadway engineering, project management, preliminary geotechnical investigations, preliminary mixed-use path design, procurement document creation, and public involvement. Support services during construction may be added once the construction documents are complete.

*** NEW BID OPENING DATE *** The Lindsey Flanigan Courthouse (“the Courthouse”) Courtroom Buildouts will include the construction of new courtrooms, jury deliberation rooms with restrooms, judge’s chamber with restrooms, holding areas including cells, visitation rooms, and conference rooms all within existing shell spaces inside the Courthouse. These shell spaces include much of the infrastructure for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Limited demolition will be required as a result. Furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) composed of audio visual and network systems as well as furniture will also be included. Each courtroom will require custom millwork and acoustic wall treatments.

Contractor will go into neighborhood regions designated by the City and repair concrete or flagstone sidewalk that has been identified by City personnel as non-compliant with City codes. Repairs may include slab leveling, joint grinding or stone replacement. Landscape/irrigation system protection/replacement and traffic/pedestrian control are ancillary to the contract and will be paid for separately. It is estimated that 20% of this contract’s work will be performed Citywide and 80% in the sidewalk repair district.
