The Department of Public Works, City and County of Denver, has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for professional design services for the Connecting Auraria Project. Elevate Denver is a 10-year, $937 million general obligation bond program approved by voters in 2017, that will enhance the City and County of Denver by providing critical improvements to the City’s infrastructure – improving our roads, sidewalks, parks, recreation centers, libraries, cultural centers, public-owned buildings and safety facilities. A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m., August 14, 2019, in Conference Room 4.F.6 - Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80202. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Proposers are responsible for any information conveyed at this meeting.
Deadline to Submit Questions: August 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

General Statement of Work: Denver Public Works is seeking a design consultant to develop construction-ready plans for the Larimer Bridge and Streetscape Project. Design will include the replacement of the aging bridge structure over Cherry Creek on Larimer Street between Speer and 14th Street in Downtown Denver. The design will also include streetscape enhancements on Larimer Street between 14th Street and the Auraria Campus.
Minority and Women Business Enterprise Participation: The project goal of 12% must be met with certified participants as set forth in Section 28-65, D.R.M.C. or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort under Section 28-62 D.R.M.C. For compliance with good faith requirements under Section 28-62(b), the M/WBE percentage solicitation level required for this project is 100%.
General: As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of Public Works reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, proposals.
