Denver Human Services and community partners will plant "Pinwheels for Prevention Gardens" throughout the city in April to bring awareness to child abuse. What Should Be on the I-70 Cover?

Denver and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) have proposed taking down the I-70 viaduct, rebuilding the highway below grade, and putting a "lid" over the lowered highway.  What should be on the lid?  Park, playground, playing fields?  Come to a Community Workshop on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm to share your thoughts and hear what your neighbors are thinking.

Elyria and Swansea Neighborhood Plan Meeting

Denver Planning has been working with residents and business owners in the Elyria and Swansea neighborhoods to develop a neighborhood plan.  The two-year process is wrapping up.  There will be an opportunity  to review the proposed plan, January 12, at the Focus Points Resource Center at 6:00 pm.  Focus Points is at 48th Ave. and Columbine.   Interpretation, food and child care will be provided.
