Special Issues: Marijuana - Chair
This Council committee reviews topics related to the administration of medical and recreational marijuana for the City & County of Denver. Meets with the Department of Excise & Licenses, industry representatives, and more.
This working group studies citywide challenges facing transit, mobility, sidewalks, street maintenance and planning, public safety at intersections and traffic management, and looks at successful models across the country in order to present a comprehensive plan for funding and implementing strategies to make Denver a more walkable, bikeable, safe, and transit-oriented city.
This task force is required by Initiative 300's ballot language, and will review the impacts of neighborhood supported social consumption areas operating in the City and County of Denver. The task force will convene in late spring/early summer of 2018.

State Legislative Planning Group
The SLP Group stays abreast of current issues at the state level and advocates on behalf of the City and County of Denver.

Governor's Residence Preservation Fund Board of Directors
The GRPF Board works to preserve the historic Governor's Residence at the Boettcher Mansion and bring it into full use and enjoyment for Colorado residents.
High Line Canal Working Group
The High Line Canal Working Group is a collaborative effort of 19 municipalities to secure funding for - and implement - projects that will help enhance and protect the unique recreation experience along the High Line Canal.
Children's Cabinet (Child Welfare) Sub-Committee
Led by Denver Human Services Director, Don Mares, the Children’s Sub-Committee meets regularly to discuss coordination of services related to children.

The CML Executive Board consists of 21 municipal elected and appointed officials elected by their peers at the CML Annual Conference. The board works to understand and support the mission of CML and to act in the best interest of the organization.
City Council will meet to hear the findings of the Green Roofs Task Force and will discuss potential modifications to the initiative. Any changes to the initiative would require the support of two-thirds of City Council, or 9 votes, which could not happen until mid-2018 at the earliest.
