The Parks Permit Office of Denver Parks and Recreation is accepting park permit applications for new and non-historical-priority events for 2019 from November 1 to December 31, 2018. Registered Neighborhood Organizations (RNO) and local neighborhood groups that are interested in conducting an activity in a Denver park are strongly encouraged to submit an application to ensure local events can be held in their neighborhood park. Only RNO’s and non-profit (501 (c)(3) organizations can apply for a neighborhood event permit, and the event must be open to the public and focused on the surrounding neighborhood.
Please note that if an RNO or neighborhood group is requesting to conduct a 2019 activity in an “athletic priority park”, they are now able to submit a park permit application between November 1- December 31, 2018. If an application is not submitted by December 31, for an “athletic priority park”, applicants will then have to wait until athletic field permits are booked (which will be mid-May for Summer permits), and availability will be significantly limited.
After 4:00pm MST on October 26, 2018 please visit the Public Events & Special Occasions section of denvergov.org/permits for final information including:
