As part of the 2016 City and County of Denver (CCD) Quebec Street Alternatives Analysis Study, bike lanes were recommended along Syracuse Street to complement planned improvements. CCD is now developing new bicycle facilities along Syracuse Street between 8th Ave. and 26th Ave. and we want your help. Learn more about the project and provide your feedback on the planned improvements at our upcoming public meeting on September 13 from 4:30 – 7:30 pm at Ashley Elementary School located at 1914 Syracuse St. During this upcoming meeting we will be discussing preliminary concept designs based on input received at the first public meeting.
The Syracuse Street Corridor Study and Design Project is evaluating the corridor to help identify low stress bicycle facility improvements that:
· Complement planned improvements on Quebec Street from 13th Ave. to 26th Ave.
· Connect bicycle networks and RTD services
· Improve intersection safety and operations for cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers
