Denver County Cultural Council Seeking Applicants

City Council is seeking applicants with active community involvement at the neighborhood level and professional, volunteer or advocatory experience in an art, cultural, scientific or historical organization. Applicants should have a citywide perspective and be willing to commit at least 15 to 20 hours per month to the cultural council during the annual grant application review period, from March through June.

New Denver Study to Set Future Course of Minority and Women Business Programs

The Denver Office of Economic Development (OED) today announces the launch of a new comprehensive disparity study to guide future implementation of minority- and women-owned business programs in Denver. The study will measure whether any underutilization of minority- and women-owned contractors exists in Denver’s procurement, thereby providing a basis for the continuation of Denver’s Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) program and related federal programs.
