DENVER — Reconstruction work and street paving efforts will be underway this week along a stretch of 38th Street in the River North community, requiring some street closures.
As part of Denver’s Brighton Boulevard Redevelopment project, 38th Street will close at Brighton Boulevard on Tuesday at 9:00pm for concrete paving in the intersection. The intersection will re-open to traffic on Monday, July 17.
Meanwhile, Denver Public Works is coordinating some much-needed street paving in the area with the 38th and Brighton intersection work and will close 38th Street from Wynkoop to Walnut Streets for resurfacing. This stretch of 38th Street from Wynkoop to Walnut Streets will reopen to traffic on Friday, July 14, when paving wraps up.
Drivers should anticipate detours. The public’s patience and cooperation during construction is greatly appreciated. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
The Brighton Boulevard Redevelopment Project, managed by the North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative (NDCC) in partnership with Denver Public Works, will construct critical public infrastructure from 29th to 44th Streets. For more information, please visit denvergov.org/brightonblvdcorridor.
