Make an Appointment (Optional)

The permit counter is located on the second floor of the Webb Municipal Building, 201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202.

The system is now sending appointment confirmation emails when booking appointments for the 2nd floor permit counter. You may also write down the booking reference number provided on the confirmation screen after booking an appointment, which you can use to check in at the kiosk at the 2nd floor permit counter. If you want to confirm that the appointment did book or if you need to cancel an appointment and did not get a confirmation email, please email jill.jenningsgolich@denvergov.org and provide your name, date and time of the appointment, and service for which the appointment was made.


Appointments are available, but optional, for three of our high-volume services: Log In, Single-family/Duplex Walk-through, and Logged-in Plan Pick-up. Review the instructions below before scheduling your visit.

While only these services are offering appointments initially, we expect to expand that in the future. All other permit counter services remain first come, first served. Counter hours and check-in times have not changed.

Please check in at the kiosk or Customer Service Center (both located at the entrance to the permit counter) at least 15 minutes before your appointment.

Log In

NEW for single-family & duplexes: Log in by email

Appointments are 40 minutes each.

1 project per appointment (2 fire log-ins are allowed, since these take less time).

Appointments are booked back-to-back and cannot be extended in person. If you need multiple permits, book 2 appointments or email login@denvergov.org to schedule a longer appointment. 

Do NOT make an appointment online if you have an assigned Project Coordinator. The coordinator schedules a Log In appointment for:

Maximum of 2 appointments per person, per day.

 

Single-family/Duplex Walk-through

Appointments are 30 minutes each.

1 project per appointment.

Appointments are booked back-to-back and cannot be extended in person. If you need more time, book 2 appointments or email login@denvergov.org to schedule a longer appointment.

If, at any point in the review, the reviewer determines that the project is too complex or lacking the information needed for same-day approval, the project must be logged in for review.

Maximum of 2 appointments per person, per day.

 

Logged-in Plan Pick-up

Appointments are 30 minutes each.

1 project per appointment.

Write your Log number in the "Notes" section of the appointment request form.

For IRC townhomes, schedule an appointment for pick-up through your project coordinator - NOT online.

To pick up multiple permits or to schedule a longer appointment, email login@denvergov.org.

Maximum of 2 appointments per person, per day.

 

Cancelling Appointments

Appointments can be cancelled at any time using the cancellation link in your appointment confirmation email.

Repeated no-shows or attempts to abuse the system will result in your inability to schedule future appointments online.

Please check in 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Arriving more than 10 minutes late will require you to make a new appointment.
