The vision for this program is to create growth and development opportunities for all city employees, support city agencies and departments focused on organizational effectiveness and efficiency, benchmark training excellence and continue development of practitioner excellence, and nurture a culture that values competence, inclusion and continuous improvement.

Tailored advising is available through the Academic Advising Center for adult returning students who have some college credit and who are seeking to complete their degrees. Many adult students take advantage of Prior Learning Assessment to obtain college credit for prior learning that occurred outside traditional educational settings, and MSU Denver students have the opportunity to create their own degree plans through the Individualized Degree Program.
