We support kinship families with numerous trainings and support groups throughout the year.
All events listed below are held at the CARE Center, located on the first floor of the Richard T. Castro Human Services Center (1200 Federal Blvd.).

Orientation provides information and resources and is required for new kinship caregivers who are caring for a child in the child welfare system.

Support groups offer kinship providers the opportunity to meet, discuss, and learn from others in a similar situation, and share emotional and practical support.

CPR and First Aid Training is for foster parents and providers in the process of becoming foster parents.
You must register no later than the Wednesday before each Saturday class. Call 720-944-2404 or email carecenter@denvergov.org. Child care is not provided.
