Through our Community Outreach and Resource Engagement Division, Denver Human Service works with community partners to bring increased access to assistance, benefits, nutrition and other wellness services to the neighborhoods that need it most.

Our outreach workers can help individuals connect to:

  • SNAP (food assistance)
  • Medical coverage (health insurance offered through Connect for Health Colorado, Medicaid, CHP+)
  • Financial coaching (how to pay down debt, reach your financial goals, save for college and retirement, tax planning and much more)
  • Cooking classes
  • Fresh produce and food
  • Recreation centers
  • More

Please note: EBT cards are only available at the three Denver Human Services offices, or by applying by phone or by mail. Outreach caseworkers can help you with the paperwork and forms to apply for an EBT card.

This year, SNAP recipients can get admission to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, History Colorado Center, and the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus for only $1 per person, up to 10 people!

  • Just show your EBT card for entry
  • This program is valid for SNAP recipients in all Colorado counties.
  • Cannot pay admission fee with EBT card, must use cash, debit or credit card
  • All adults must be accompanied by a child
