GIVE Denver partners with corporate and individual sponsors to help secure various donations that will support the success of DHS events. Typical sponsored events are those that prevent abuse and exploitation of children, the elderly, and other vulnerable populations as well as events that commemorate milestones of children and families assisted by DHS, including family reunifications, adoptions, and other key moments. Monetary donations are always welcome and are tax deductible!

Donation Needs

Throughout the year we accept donation items that directly benefit Denver’s most vulnerable children, families and individuals, and are tax deductible. Basic necessities are accepted any time of the year. 

Current Items Needed:

  • Hygiene items, including:
    • Deodorant, tissue paper, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, soap and body wash, razors and shaving cream, lotion, tampons and pads, hand sanitizer, toothpaste and toothbrushes, floss and mouthwash, hair brushes and combs
  • Baby diapers and wipes
  • New and gently-used clothing and pajamas (infant to adult sizes, including extended sizes)
  • New and gently-used backpacks, suitcases, and duffel bags
  • Sleeping bags and blankets
  • Cold weather accessories (infant to adult sizes), including:
    • Hats, gloves, scarves, socks, blankets, coats, hand warmers

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations are always welcome, year-round. Your tax-deductible contributions allow us to meet GIVE Denver clients’ emergency needs on-site if we’re running low on donated goods.


Corporate Support

GIVE Denver partners with Denver-area businesses to host our annual Elder Abuse Prevention Day, Child Abuse Prevention Month, Reunification Day, Masquerade Ball and other milestones for children and families assisted by Denver Human Services. Contact us today to become a corporate support partner.


By volunteering with Denver Human Services, you’ll be helping foster, homeless and disadvantaged children, veterans, individuals, and families. Additionally, you will contribute to making Denver a better place to live. We have various volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
