More than 1300 people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless connected to hundreds of crucial resources today at Project Homeless Connect 2017 (PHC 2017). Now in its 11th year, the annual event connects families and individuals to more than 100 service providers, employers, recruiters, and resources. For people without a steady home, accessing simple necessities can take months and require multiple trips to locations across the metro area. PHC 2017 connects participants to services and resources directly on-site, saving them time and travel costs and giving volunteers the chance to contribute meaningfully to those experiencing homelessness in our community.
