Denver Human Services Disagrees with Audit of Services for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Denver Human Services (DHS) has made improvements in recent years to the administration and oversight of critical services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and will continue to cultivate best practices in partnership with Rocky Mountain Human Services (RMHS), the state’s designated Community Centered Board for Denver. Those improvements are noted in detail in DHS’s response to a recent city audit.

As the peak of the summer harvest nears, Denver Human Services (DHS) and Denver Botanic Gardens have resumed their weekly farm stand on Fridays, bringing nutritious, locally grown produce to Denver neighborhoods that lack access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
