On March 7, experts from Denver Excise and Licenses, Community Planning and Development, Denver Fire Department, and the Department of Public Health and Environment will host a forum on licensing, permitting, and inspections for the marijuana industry.

Mayor Michael B. Hancock expressed his severe disappointment in U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ decision today to rescind the Obama-era policy regarding states that have voted to legalize recreational marijuana.
Applications for new licenses, renewals, transfers or modifications of existing licenses will be accepted Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm.
Please bring your completed application package and all required documents to Denver Excise & Licenses. Our staff can answer your questions about licensing processes, but cannot provide legal nor business advice. An overview of the licensing process as well as required fees and forms can be found below.
Please Note: One (1) application per appointment. You can check-in 15 minutes early to appointment. You will not be able to check-in late for an appointment.
