Denver Recreation Center Closures
All Denver Recreation Centers and Pools are closed until further notice as details on how to open safely and equitably while minimizing the potential spread of COVID-19 are determined.
All centers that are meal sites will continue to serve meals during regularly scheduled hours (Mon. - Fri. 3:30-5:30 p.m.).
Denver Parks & Recreation operates 14 indoor and 16 outdoor swimming pools, offering numerous aquatic activities for youth, adults, seniors and persons with disabilities. Enjoy open and lap swim, aqua-fitness classes, swim lessons and private instruction for every age and level of ability.
An indoor therapy pool is located at Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center.
Please Note: Outdoor pools are typically open from the first week of June through mid-August. Select pools may stay open on weekends only through Labor Day weekend.

Cancellation and Late Policy
Completing a request for private swim lessons does not guarantee that you will be assigned an instructor. At times, space and instructors may be limited. We will make every attempt to fulfill each request.

If you have questions or comments about private swim lessons, please contact the Aquatics Coordinator at the recreation center you would like to visit for private swim lessons. A list of our recreation centers and their contact information can be found here.
City and County of Denver Parks & Recreation Outdoor Pools may close periodically.

Denver Parks and Recreation Aquatics recognizes that providing open swim times for local groups/camps is an important part of ensuring a successful summer.
In order to maintain a safe and consistent environment for all our patrons, we ask that all groups of 10 or more children/youth arrange their visit in advance.
For outdoor pool requests, please check this page for updates in early 2021. Links to the group request form will be updated at that time.
