DPR serves all fitness levels through a variety of services led by more than 100 fitness professionals! Explore 200+ group fitness classes offered citywide, as well as specialized programs such as Boot Camp Missiona and Personal Training Services. Denver Parks & Recreation offers an opportunity to take your workouts to the next level! Whether you’re looking to improve your current fitness abilities, build muscle mass, lose weight or sculpt your physique, our certified trainers will offer solutions custom fit for you!

How do I get started?

Enrollment is easy!
Our goal is to schedule you with the ideal trainer and location to meet your needs!

  • Review the available Personal Training Packages
  • Select a package and process your payment at the Recreation Center our front counter staff
  • Contact (720-865-0758) to share your preferred trainer and location for training.

Bring all completed paperwork, to include the pre-assessment packet and receipt of payment, to you initial appointment.

Cancellation Policy                                     

Denver Parks & Recreation requires a 24-hour notice for all cancellations. Clients will forfeit personal training sessions without refund if repeat cancellations occur without advanced notice.

Body Fat/ Fitness Assessments- $15
Ages: 15 and up

Accurately measuring your baseline body composition, and the inevitable changes over time are critical to maintaining health, athletic performance, and desired physical appearance. This Assessment not only measures these, but also gives you the opportunity to measure your improvements. Make an appointment to get started on your way to a healthier life.

Individual Training
One-on-one 60 minute session with a Certified Personal Trainer to meet your fitness goals. Specialty training sessions available: Pilates | Yoga

Ages: 15 and up


  • 1 Session $45
  • 3 Sessions $115
  • 5 Sessions $165
  • 10 Sessions $320

Duo Training, 2-3 people - $20/hour per person
Designed to foster teamwork and motivation, our trainers create workout prescriptions for multiples! Family member, friend, or co-worker? Relish in the support and fun element of working with a buddy!

All participants must be present for registration
One, Three, and five- Session Package available.

DPR is proud to offer Boot Camps throughout the city, throughout the year. Brought to you through a well-trained and friendly staff, we provide a high-quality, full body, and cardio experience every workout! Geared to serve all fitness levels, workouts consist of body-weight exercises developing strength, endurance and flexibility within functional movements. DPR offers personalized nutrition programs tailored to your specific goals. Nutrition is a large part of the fitness and wellness puzzle and we’re here to simplify it for you. No fad diets or crazy eating plans. This program will provide a sustainable way for you live your healthiest life possible!

Speed and Agility Camp

These speed camp focus on running mechanics, linear speed, acceleration and explosive power. Key features: Each athlete will have a pre and post camp assessment in the 40-yard dash, Broad Jump and Pro Agility. Personalized training sessions for further development will also be offered. Camps will be held on grass (weather dependent), cleats are recommended. If you do not have cleats, running shoes will also be acceptable.

Ages: 8-15, $35 per session


Preschool Yoga

Yoga poses are mixed and matched into lessons with games, stories, music and more to teach to the active preschooler. It introduces languages, geography, ecology, basic math concepts, and co-operative living ideas. Yoga Kids classes include breathing, mindfulness and relaxation techniques. Participants will also explore poses and techniques to increase strength, flexibility, focus, concentration, and balance. These classes are full of barking dogs, hissing snakes, roaring lions, fluttering butterflies, and balancing trees!

Ages: 3-4, $25 per session


Weight Room Training for Teens

Weight Room Training for Teens (WITT) offers teens a certification program allowing access to Denver Parks & Recreation Centers weight and cardio rooms. This 4-weektraining session includes learning materials, workout plans, nutritional information and a certification card. The goal of this certification program is to instill education, discipline, and safe practice to accompany the opportunity to learn how to properly use weight room, cardio, and fitness room equipment. Though the focus of this class is on training teens, this class is also open to interested adults. Registration is required.

Ages: 13-17, $30 per session


Preseason Sports Conditioning Camp

This 2 week preseason conditioning camp will focuses on running mechanics, linear speed, acceleration and explosive power while getting you ready for your upcoming athletic season.

Ages: 8-15, $35 per session
