Harvard Gulch is a Local Level recreation center in the northeast area. Its facility features include:
A low-impact class using standing, floor, and barre exercises to help participants achieve results. This dynamic stretching program improves strength and flexibility at the same time.
Oula is one epic hour of sweat, joy and total inspiration - dancemania for the soul! Rooted in cardiovascular endurance and movement, join us for a unique, high-energy and light-hearted sweat!
Pickleball is a fun paddle sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is played on a badminton sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. Play occurs on a "first come, first served" basis. Equipment is available for use.
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
Often called "moving meditation," this class is a graceful form of exercise that helps reduce stress and improve overall health and well-being through stretching and gentle movement.
Total Body Conditioning
Strengthen your muscles with this total-body workout designed to help you get lean and toned! This high-energy, resistance training class will challenge your body to feel the burn and get maximum results.
This practice is based on foundational yoga poses performed in a dynamic, flowing style to create a balance of physical action, internal focus, and conscious breathing. Poses are modified to include beginners while challenging experienced practitioners.
This meditative practice includes longer holds to ignite the body’s internal heat and allow deep release to occur. Students learn to balance strength with flexibility and effort with surrender in each pose. Level I is for beginners. Level II includes more challenging movements.
