City Park Pavillion

Part of the “City Beautiful” campaign at the beginning of the 20th century, the Pavilion was designed by John Humphreys and William Fisher, and completed in 1882. The original structure was replaced in 1929, and refurbished in 1992. Surrounded by the picturesque Sopris garden, Ferril Lake, and the historic City Park Band Shell, the Pavilion offers a variety of breathtaking views and photo opportunities. This elegant Spanish-style landmark features towers and arches, and is nestled in front of the awe-inspiring Denver skyline. The City Park Pavilion is the signature Denver venue.

The City Park Pavilion is on the US National Register of Historic Places and Colorado State Register of Historic properties

Available times: 2:00PM - 11:00PM

  • 9 hour rental maximum during operating hours (7am-11pm)
  • All rental times must include set up, clean up, and any rehearsal required

9 hour rental blocks:

  • Weekdays (Mon.-Thurs.): $600
  • Weekends (Fri.-Sun.) & holidays: $1,000

Registered nonprofit organizations will be offered a 50% discount on rental fees.

Beer, wine and liquor may be served but NOT sold.

If serving alcohol: A licensed bartender who is not a guest of the event is required for the service of any alcohol. Either the permit holder or the bartender must carry the required insurance

Schedule a Tour:
Free, guided one (1) hour tours are available for parties who wish to see the interior of a venue and ask additional questions before submitting a reservation application. Registered tour attendees are invited to bring one guest. View instructions on how to check availability and schedule a tour.

Schedule a Walk-through (for permit holders only):
A one (1) hour walk-through with a DPR Event Facilitator is required to obtain your approved Event Facilities Permit. The walk-through will cover day-of event logistics. Permit holders are strongly encouraged to bring any vendors, family or friends who will play a role in your event and need to see the venue prior to your reservation date. Permit holders are limited to one walkthrough. View instructions on how to schedule a walk-through.
