Our officers are the face of the department and are responsible for keeping the residents and visitors of Denver safe. The ability to accomplish this mission is based on the journey that an applicant takes as they become a police officer. It is a transition during which a recruit learns more about who they are, while also realizing that they must become a part of a team, and accomplishing the job is priority.
