The Community Health Division is focused on providing Denver with the resources and education that delivers the benefits of good health to each resident. Here you will find programs and initiatives that ensure a better quality of life for everyone in the city and county of Denver. This includes Denver's Office of HIV Resources, Health Impact Assessments and Tobacco Legislation and Enforcement, and program Safe Routes to School, Community Active Living Coalition, and Healthy Corner Stores.

Through the Office of the Medical Examiner, Denver's coroner is responsible for the investigation of deaths that occur suddenly and unexpectedly, by any unnatural or traumatic means, and under suspicious circumstance.  


Denver Public Health provides a wide range of services that promote, improve and protect the health and well-being of the residents of Denver.

Denver Office of Sustainability works to ensure policies and practices will protect the city's resources for the future.
