Become a Firefighter

Denver Fire Recruiting Postponements and Cancellations

In an effort to limit exposures to COVID-19, Denver Fire Recruitment Team is postponing the April and May orientations until further notice, as directed by the City & County of Denver.

Those who have already attended an Orientation are still guaranteed a testing spot and will receive updates via a Firejobs email detailing testing information. For candidates scheduled for an upcoming Orientation, the Denver Fire Recruiting Team will do their best to hold another orientation before enrollment opens as allowed by the City. Please keep in mind, the Denver Fire Department will not risk the health and safety of our candidates.

Please limit or cease your calls to the Recruiters. We are working diligently to provide the most current information as it becomes available. The Denverfirerecruiting.org website will be updated as we receive information on testing.

For those interested in becoming a Denver Firefighter, fill out the interest form on denverfirerecruiting.org to receive recruiting updates.

We are disappointed that we unable to provide the scheduled orientations but anticipate additional opportunities in the future. Please be sure to read the informational booklet on Denverfirerecruiting.org and reference the additional resources available to best prepare for the testing process.

Thank you for your interest in the Denver Fire Department.
