EMPLOYMENT IN THE CITY

Welcome to Denver’s Employment in the City guide. This guide was created to help people with disabilities find work, and to help employers hire people with disabilities. It is made up of three separate pages:

  1. An employee page, identifying organizations in the Denver metro area who hire people with disabilities;
  2. An employer page, identifying resources that help employers hire people with disabilities; and
  3. A page with a variety of other resources for people with disabilities, including housing, education, and employment resources.  

We hope these resources will bring together people with disabilities and businesses in the Denver area, forge relationships that benefit one another, and help make Denver a more inclusive and equal community.

About the Denver Commission for People with Disabilities

The mission of the Denver Commission for People with Disabilities (DCPD) is to promote and enhance equality for people with disabilities through empowerment, advocacy, and education by working with community members, as well as City and County of Denver officials and employees who have the ability to affect change.
