Attend Or Host A Lab


What Is A Storytelling Lab?

  • Denver residents gather for three to four hours to uncover and share their personal I Am Denver stories
  • Professional facilitators provide an hour of inspiration and guidance
  • Share work with each other and the facilitator
  • Work with facilitators or individually to polish and rehearse stories
  • Have photos taken
  • Record I Am Denver story via video or podcast (these recordings are usually one to three minutes each)

A selection of stories are shared on I Am Denver channels, which include this website, Denver 8 TV, City & County of Denver social media and more!

 

How To Host A Storytelling Lab

Who can host an I Am Denver storytelling lab?

Include an I Am Denver storytelling lab as a part of your group’s or organization’s regular meeting, or during a special event with residents who would like to share their I Am Denver story.

What do we have to do to host an I Am Denver storytelling lab?

Fill out the form below and we will contact you to follow up on hosting an event. Please note that your request should be submitted at least 60 days in advance of your event.
