The 2019 Great Denver Cleanup has concluded. A big thank you to all Denver residents that participated to make this year even more successful that the last. Keep your eye out for next year’s Great Denver Cleanup spring of 2020!

Stats from 2019 GDC:

  • 842 cars visited the event
  • 139 mattresses recycled
  • 4072 lbs. of rigid plastics were recycled
  • 8360 lbs. of scrap metal was recycled
  • 369 tires collected free of charge
  • 32.45 tons of trash removed from Denver homes and neighborhoods
  • 12.11 tons of organics collected for composting
  • over 10 tons of mixed recycling (mostly cardboard) collected and recycled

The 2018 Great Denver Cleanup was a hugely successful event! Thank you to all Denver residents that took the time to bring us their hard-to-recycle items on Saturday, June 9th. Collected that this year's event:

  • 44 tons of trash
  • 17 tons of yard debris for composting
  • Nearly 1 ton of windows and glass panes for recycling
  • 114 cubic yards of donatable and reusable items (furniture, clothing, etc.)
  • 2 tons of cardboard for recycling
  • 95 mattresses and box springs
  • Over 100 appliances for recycling
