Currently seeking candidates for the Mayor’s Pedestrian Advisory Committee

Are you interested in how people move around the city, especially pedestrians? Do you have a passion for walking and safety? Do you want to make a positive difference on city policies and procedures? The Mayor’s Pedestrian Advisory Committee (MPAC) is looking for new members to bring ideas and energy to this important committee.

The Committee meets monthly on the second Tuesday from 7:30-9:00 am. We are currently meeting via Zoom. There are two representatives from each city council district and three at-large members for a total of 25 members. People serve three-year terms.

Recent Committee activity includes recommendations to the City on shared streets; speed limits around schools and in neighborhoods; complete streets design guidelines.
