North Denver Resource Center

The North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative (NDCC) is partnering with many city agencies to establish an economic mobility resource center in Globeville, Elyria, and Swansea. The Center will be housed at the Valdez-Perry Branch Library (4690 Vine Street) and will act as a central hub where the community have direct access to city services.

The Center is one of the economic mobility pilot initiatives that NDCC is launching in 2018 as part of its mission to provide north Denver communities with resources that help them build self-sufficient, successful lives. At the Center, residents and business owners will find myriad resources ranging from housing to workforce to education, but they will also find staff that provides them dedicated guidance on how to navigate said resources.

Goals:

  • Increase community accessibility to city services that address their most immediate social and economic needs
  • Assist residents and business owners in becoming self-sufficient and expand their opportunities for growth and overall well-being.

Partners:

  • Denver Human Services
  • Denver Human Rights & Community Partnerships
  • Denver Office of Economic Development
  • Denver Office of Financial Empowerment
  • Denver Office of Immigrant & Refugee Affairs
