Whenever you find yourself feeling tense or irritated in a situation or with another person, it helps to remember to breathe deeply. This may sound silly, but it helps the thinking part of the brain engage and lessen the influence of the reptilian brain (fight or flight). Counting to three is also a good calming mechanism and engages your brain. If you have a conflict with a colleague, make sure to breathe and count, use "I" statement to express your point of view and ask for a "time out."

Denver’s LeafDrop Weekend Sites are Open

Leave Your Laptops/Tablets Where TS Can See Them!

Technology Services (TS) is performing a physical hardware asset inventory from October to December. Technicians will be inventorying all desktops, laptops and tablets by visiting cubes, conference rooms, and labs to scan devices. Inventory dates and times will be scheduled for each department/agency. During the scheduled time, please have laptops and tablets readily available to help TS minimize the disruption to end-users. DECC Winter Arts & Crafts Fair

The Denver Employees’ Charitable Campaign is hosting the 2018 Winter Arts and Crafts Fair from 9 am to 2 pm Thursday and Friday, November 29 and 30 in the Webb Municipal Building Atrium. There will be more than 50 tables filled with handmade items, all made by City employees, local artists, and crafters. This is a great place to shop for some unique holiday, birthday, or wedding gifts and to check out the creativity of your peers!

The Denver Employee Bulletin (DEB) is produced weekly by the Office of Human Resources. All information to be included in the DEB must be approved by the department/agency public information officer, communications team or department/agency leadership.

Submissions must be sent via the DEB Submission form by the Friday prior to the next week’s publication. The DEB is published weekly, every Tuesday in the late afternoon. Most DEB content will play on #CCDigital signage, as well as on DenverHub (citywide intranet). Email questions to the Denver Employee Bulletin.

Please note that notices of retirement parties, requests for donated sick leave, or other personal requests will not be distributed citywide. These notices should be circulated only within the originating departments or agencies if consistent with departmental policies and management approval.
