The City and County of Denver (CCD) employs over 11,000 people in a vast array of jobs across the city. We recently launched a talent acquisition and employment branding campaign to help position us as a top employer in the region. This new brand, developed in partnership with citywide marketing, captures the best of our city and promotes it in many ways that benefit our residents and helps us build employee engagement and retention as well as a stronger talent pipeline in a highly competitive job market. It will tell our story by featuring our employees, our brand champions throughout the campaign. Lots of businesses are shopping the best and the brightest talent to hire, and the talent acquisition brand helps to set us apart as a best place to work.
The new talent acquisition and employment brand comes to life via the Be a part of the city that you love campaign. The campaign collateral contains bold, colorful graphics and condensed context – which work to convey a sense of energy and excitement about the city of Denver. The campaign is designed to be flexible and creative to resonate with various audience segments in a variety of job roles. Our talent acquisition and employment brand is our identity and is key to the way we present the City and County of Denver as a top employer in the region.
Future iterations of the talent acquisition and employment brand will include additional City and County of Denver employees, Agencies, Departments and jobs.

Approximately 65,000 people will apply for jobs this year and an estimated 125,000 job applications will be submitted and processed by CCD. Among the major challenges facing the city today is attracting and retaining the best talent in the region. Our goal is to be acknowledged as a “Best Place to Work” and be recognized as one of the top employers in the region.
Talent acquisition and employment branding is a key strategy in attracting and retaining the best and brightest talent in an exceedingly competitive employment market. Our talent/employment brand can be described as the attributes and value that are associated with the CCD as a place to work. The talent/employment brand leverages what current and potential employees think, feel and share about the CCD as a place to work.
